私がいつも設定している環境設定 (preferences)を紹介します。

全般(General)

• Appearance - Colors and Fonts - Java - Java Editor Text Font : 文字サイズを大きくする。
• Editors - Text Editors : 履歴サイズ(undo history size)を10000くらいに設定。また、show line numbersをチェックして、行数を表示する。
• Keys : キーバインド(Scheme)をEmacsにする。また Insert Line Above Current Lineを「Ctrl+O」に設定。
• Startup and Shutdown : 不要なプラグイン(JAX-WS Utilsとか)をチェックアウト。
• Workspace : Text file encodingをUTF-8にする。

Java

• Compiler - Errors/Warnings : チェックは厳しめに設定。ignoreとなっている項目のほとんどをwarningに変更。
• Editor - Folding : Enable foldingをチェックアウト
